chief sausage sampler & sampless

Faith, family and friendship. These three principals are what we aim at daily as we strive to make great sausage. We couldn’t do it without the hard work and dedication of the entire team at Smokey Denmark’s Smoked Meats and the leadership of the folks below. We are thankful for them and for you.

Jalapeno & Cheddar links.  I like it best fresh right out of the smokehouse first thing in the morning.

josh likes:

Pork and Beef with cheese. I usually just put it in the oven wrapped in foil and put it in a wrap “tortilla” with some mustard. I also like the regular pork and beef. I’ll slice it thin and pan fry it and eat it with some pasta.

Thomas suggests:

Pepperwurst or Beer Brats. I like to grill it and add German mustard. Jalapeño & Cheese Kielbasa is also good pan fried. Oh yeah, with eggs in the morning.

I like the Kielbasa or Hot Link sausage with a good BBQ, but of course the BBQ is always good cause I made it.

our founder

"Smokey" Denmark

On a fateful day in 1964, Albert C. "Smokey" Denmark had the idea that making sausage is just about the most noble cause that a man can pursue. And at that moment he decided to start making pure sausage magic. Mr. Denmark was 110% committed to the idea that quality ingredients make a great sausage, so he kept his recipe real. No fake casings, no spray-on smoke and no bologna. We hold these same values as truth in our hearts to this very day. You won't ever find that we've cut corners or tried to pull the old switcheroo. What you see is what you get. Pure, honest, authentic and consistently great sausage made one link at a time in lovely Austin, Texas.
